Stone Dropper

This Stone Dropper is a compact, fast-sinking imitation of an early (or winter) stonefly.  It is designed to be fished as the secondary fly (dropper) in a tight-line / Euro nymphing rig; although the tungsten bead is heavy enough to be a point fly with a lighter fly tied as the dropper.
