The Peeping Caddis Perdigon imitates one of the most vulnerable stages in a caddisfly's life cycle—the moment the larva begins to emerge from its protective case. Built on a barbless hook with a tungsten bead, this pattern sinks quickly, making it ideal for tight-line and Euro nymphing techniques.

Its realistic profile and subtle movement suggest an emerging caddis larva drifting helplessly in the current, a food source trout rarely ignore. Effective throughout the year, the Peeping Caddis excels in riffles, runs, and pocket water where caddis populations thrive.

Whether fished as a point fly or dropper, this pattern consistently produces trout when natural presentations are required and fish are feeding subsurface.  Tied on a size 16 with a 3.5 tungsten bead.
